AO HALL has further expanded its fiduciary team to meet continuing demand for its expertise.

Ewan Mackay has joined the team, as an associate,  having recently completed a 14 month consultancy position with Albany Trustee. Originally from Scotland, Mr Mackay moved to Guernsey to work in St James’ Chambers and has held in-house legal counsel positions as well as working at another legal firm.

‘In my previous role, I experienced first-hand what makes AO Hall the success that it is. The service level and care given to clients who also receive first-class advice and high quality work gives them an unparalleled reputation,’ said Mr Mackay, who is married with a three year old son

‘Fiduciary is a difficult and challenging area of law and I am looking forward to developing my knowledge and skills within the fiduciary department as well as providing support to the corporate team. AO Hall is becoming increasingly well-known for its fiduciary expertise and group partner Paul Buckle is one of the most well-respected trust lawyers in Guernsey so I will be learning from the very best.’

Mr Mackay has a law degree from the University of Glasgow and is also a Scottish solicitor as well as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.

‘Ewan brings with him a wealth of experience having worked within legal practices and in-house. He has exceptional knowledge of the trust industry and I am confident that he will be a valuable asset to the team,’ said Mr Buckle.

‘The fiduciary team has quickly developed a reputation of delivering advice of the highest quality to corporate and individual clients and professional advisors in all aspects of trusts, pensions and asset planning and Ewan’s appointment will enable us to continue service levels to our growing number of clients.’
