JON Barclay has been appointed Counsel at Bedell Cristin in Guernsey as part of the ongoing expansion of the law firm’s litigation team.
Advocate Barclay has a strong reputation and is a leader in his field having practised locally for a number of years, most recently as Partner at another Guernsey law firm.
His expertise lies in commercial litigation, fraud and asset tracing, corporate disputes and insolvency, trusts, regulatory and compliance issues.

Advocate Barclay was called to the English Bar in 1999 and practised in the Chancery and Commercial Group at leading set No. 5 Chambers. He returned to Guernsey in 2005 and qualified as an Advocate of the Royal Court in 2006.
