C5 Alliance Group has achieved the Microsoft Gold Hosting competency, one of the many benefits resulting from its recent acquisition of Itex Holdings Limited.
The competency is awarded to companies that meet a series of specific requirements and demonstrates “best-in-class capability within a specific solution area”.
By joining together the diverse skills and resources of both C5 Alliance and the former Itex, C5 Alliance Group meets the requirements and accreditations necessary to achieve the hosting competency.
“The acquisition has brought with it a raft of positive developments and it is excellent news that this competency is now confirmed. The advanced credentials and resources required to achieve it are extremely tough to meet and this really reflects the breadth of expertise we now have available in our pool of over 170 qualified experts,” said Cindy Jacobs, head of C5 Alliance Group’s IT Services team.
“It is more than a badge of honour though and comes with a series of advantages for the group which we will leverage to enhance our services to clients. This includes more access to training resources and the latest software capabilities.”
C5 Alliance Group is an accredited Microsoft Gold Partner and holds a number of competencies along with Gold Hosting, including Gold Business Intelligence and Gold Collaboration & Content (SharePoint).
“C5 Alliance Group now has access to more resources, more facilities and more expertise than ever. We will continue to realise the added value of joining the two companies over the coming months and keep striving to innovate as the technology company with the deepest and broadest expertise in the Channel Islands,” said Mark Loane, chief executive officer of C5 Alliance Group.
