Clydesdale builds financial & customer service teams

Guernsey News, 25 January 2010 – CLYDESDALE Bank International has appointed two new members of staff, expanding their finance and customer service teams.

The bank’s team has grown significantly since it launched in Guernsey last year, and now includes Marjorie Egan and Kerry O’Connor.

A chartered accountant, Ms. Egan also holds an MBA in finance having worked in the industry locally and internationally in New York.  She has joined Clydesdale as Finance Manager.

Following the bank’s continuing growth in their customer services department, also joining is Ms. O’Connor, who will head up the customer services team. Ms. O’Connor has worked in the finance industry locally for 12 years.

James Blower, managing director of Clydesdale Bank International, is pleased with the banks growing workforce.

‘Since our inception in Guernsey, it’s been encouraging to see the business expanding through the introduction of new staff with varying and advantageous backgrounds.’

‘At Clydesdale we consider it a precedence to provide first class support to our members, and I strongly believe that Kerry and Marjorie will demonstrate this ethos going forward.’
