Clydesdale has a g’day
Guernsey News, 28 January 2010 – The staff at Clydesdale Bank International were awash with gold and green on Tuesday, 26 January as they celebrated National Australia Day.
Clydesdale Bank International, which is owned by the National Australia Bank Group, encouraged employees to wear the national colours, have a glass of Australian wine and enjoy a hot dog or two.
‘Staff morale is an important part of our business and working ethic so it’s a great way to add some extra energy into the office. Our colleagues in Australia enjoyed a day off and many spent it enjoying a BBQ on the beach. As we couldn’t do that here, we thought we’d bring the beach to them! ,’ said James Blower, managing director of CBI.
