Design and advertising agency Coast Media has expanded its account handling resource with the appointment of Nic Legg as a Business Development and Marketing Executive. This brings the total number of staff to nine, from four (all of whom are still with the business) when the company was formed in 2007.
Explained Coast managing director, Katie Blampied: ‘Nic’s tireless work in his spare time as part of the communications team at Guernsey FC has significantly increased the club’s profile, and means he is well known in the community. He is therefore well placed to bring those brand building skills to new Coast design and advertising clients.’
Prior to joining Coast, Nic worked locally as a primary school teacher for three years. He studied Theatre Arts, Education and Deaf Studies at the University of Reading before moving to the University of Brighton to complete a Primary PGCE.
‘Coast is a very friendly and dynamic company with some exciting projects for me to get my teeth into. I will be building on my existing contacts to bring in new business as well managing Coast’s social media and PR,’ said Mr Legg.
