Collas Crill is continuing to expand its Guernsey fiduciary practice with the appointment of Bethan Boscher to the team.
It’s an internal move for Bethan, an associate and solicitor of England and Wales, who previously specialised in private client work within the firm’s wills and estates team where she advised clients on their estate planning and asset protection needs.
In the past 12 months Collas Crill has recruited two senior lawyers with significant trusts experience, with the appointment of Edward Stone and Angela Calnan to work alongside senior associate Karen Farman.
“Our investment in the team has led to a significant increase in market share,” said Collas Crill managing partner Jason Romer.
Collas Crill senior associate Angela Calnan said: “Bethan’s drafting skills and experience in private client matters make her an ideal fit in supporting Ed, Karen and me with the increased level of work our team is receiving from both domestic and international clients, particularly from the Middle East and Far East.”
Bethan is already settling in well to the team. She said: “Moving into Collas Crill’s Fiduciary team is a natural progression for me. It’s really nice to join such a vibrant and busy team. I’ve already been involved in a wide variety of matters, which I’m really enjoying.”
Collas Crill has invested heavily in its Guernsey Fiduciary team in order to continue to expand and deliver the first rate service that it offers to clients.
As Angela notes, “the team has genuine international experience and clients are keen to work with us to draw on that experience and the contacts that we have in key regions of development such as the Middle and Far East. Having first-hand experience of these jurisdictions is invaluable when advising trust companies working with individuals from those regions”.
