On Saturday night 70 diners enjoyed a night hosted by the stars of the Guernsey edition of Come Dine With Me which aired earlier this month.
Mike Huston from Island FM, Kay Davidson, Ben Inder and the winner of the show Gemma Sparkes entertained the guests at the Pavilion whilst Chef Tony Leck and his team assisted by Gemma served up the winning three courses.
To entertain the crowd Mike sang, Ben had a Q&A whilst under the spotlight and all four served the diners the meal which was streamed to large screens from the kitchen where the crowd were entertained by Gemma, Tony and his team prepared the Scallop starter, Ox Cheek main and bucket and spade dessert.
Gemma Sparkes said ‘What a fantastic evening we all had and thank you to everyone that helped make it a huge success.’
‘We’ve raised over £2,500 for the two charities.’
‘It was a great night and we couldn’t have done it without everyone that helped.’
The money that was raised on the night is to be split between Help A Guernsey Child and the GSPCA.
