Resolution IT, L-R: Mark Renouf, Pierre Jehan and Matt Le Prevost

A further three new staff members have joined Resolution IT in order to maintain the high level of customer service the IT support and service provider extends to its clients.

The appointments of Pierre Jehan, Mark Renouf and Matt Le Prevost have increased the number of staff to 14.

Explained Director Steve Brehaut, ‘Although we have grown in size, we remain firmly committed to our smaller clients who joined us in the early days. These latest appointments mean we are able to maintain the high level of customer service that we pride ourselves on to both existing and new customers.’

Pierre Jehan has joined as a Senior Systems Consultant and Manager. With 15 years of ICT experience, Pierre spent the first five years of his career working in financial institutions, and the last ten as a Senior Consultant for a large Channel Island IT service provider. Pierre will join recently promoted Matt Le Patourel in working closely with Directors Olly Duquemin and Steve Brehaut, to support the firm’s larger clients and assist with the management of the company, giving support and guidance to the other staff members.

Helpdesk Manager Mark Renouf will mainly be office based, and will be the first point of contact in customer support. He will organise and streamline offsite visits, and as part of the purchasing department will deal with the firm’s suppliers. Mark will also be responsible for Resolution IT’s monitoring service, which constantly observes the ‘IT health’ of clients. This leads to issues being identified and resolved before they start causing problems – saving downtime – and approximately 80% of the firm’s work involves this preventative maintenance.

Trainee Systems Consultant Matt Le Prevost is the first member of staff who will undergo a new training programme which will lead to him becoming a qualified IT consultant. This will be structured over the next few years and will include hands-on training in-house, and official Microsoft and Apple approved courses.

‘We have been keen to take on more junior staff members for some time, and now have the resources required to provide the necessary training and assistance they need,’ concluded Director Olly Duquemin. ‘We are delighted that we will be able to invest in the future by building our client support through a highly experienced team complemented by our new trainee programmes.’
