The Guernsey Bereavement Society has continued to received IT support from IT service provider, Logicalis, with the recent donation of a brand new computer, some software and a Xerox multi-function device which prints, scans, copies and faxes.
James Pinnock, Service Delivery Manager at Logicalis said: ‘Since 2009 we’ve been providing IT support to the Guernsey Bereavement Service and as some of their equipment was getting a little old we helped them with an upgrade to current technologies so that they can continue to provide an efficient and effective service.’
Linda Norman from the Guernsey Bereavement Service said: ‘We are most grateful to Logicalis for their continued generosity with our IT systems and equipment. Like any modern organisation, much of our communication is done electronically which needs to be done in a professional manner to reflect the high standards we operate at the Bereavement Service.
‘The donated equipment has replaced some out-of-date apparatus and will make such a difference to the smooth running and efficiency of the service. As a small charity we rely on the goodwill of companies such as Logicalis to allow us to operate.’
Logicalis are delighted to continue our sponsorship of GBS as they provide an important and worthwhile service to the island community. For people to have some succor at what is a difficult emotional time is obviously something we are proud to support.
