Get Active fortnight returns from May 31st, with even more free activities on offer. With over 35 different activities with more than 90 sessions on offer, all activities are free of charge and are offered as taster sessions – making them accessible and suitable for everyone, whatever their level of fitness.
The initiative, which is organised by the GSC and sponsored by Generali Worldwide, encourages hundreds of islanders to try a new sport or physical activity and this year’s programme looks set to be even more varied. New sports on offer this year include: Family Football, Tri Fitness, Kings Outdoor Active, Zumba Step, Chi Running, Trampolining, Weight Training, Zumba Aqua, Sitting Volleyball, Disability Racketball, Triathlon and Rowing.
“The team has worked hard to develop a programme for 2014 that gives men, women and children of all ages a great choice of activities to try. We are confident that there is something for everyone,” says Ian Robinson, Head of Corporate Business, Generali Worldwide.

It’s all about having fun and finding ways to keep active on a regular basis.”
