A director at Legis Group has received the ‘Women in Wealth’ award at the Citywealth International Finance Centre Awards 2013.
Alison Parry, managing director of trust and corporate services for Legis Group, received the accolade at an awards ceremony held in the London Landmark Hotel on 24 January.
The IFC Awards were launched in 2012 to promote excellence and adherence to global tax standards and this year the contest attracted 3,000 online votes which were monitored by an international panel of industry judges, including Mark Buzzoni from Taylor Wessing and Sue Laing of Boodle Hatfield.
The ‘Women in Wealth’ category is awarded each year in recognition of women of excellence in the wealth industry and is judged on technical ability, manner, international outlook and thought leadership.
“Alison is a vital part of Legis Group’s on-going success and highly deserving of this recognition.” said Stuart Platt-Ransom, group managing director.
“Legis Group had a successful 2012 and continues to cement its place as an award-winning, best of breed independent. This success is undoubtedly a reflection of the dedication of directors such as Alison and indeed the rest of our employees,” he said.
Last year, Ms Parry was shortlisted in the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards ‘Woman of the Year’ category.
Karen Jones, editor of Citywealth said: “Alison Parry has extensive experience combined with a charming personality. This authentic strategy has paid off for her and this win consolidates her position as a formidable trustee.”
