Independent fiduciary firm Saffery Champness has appointed a business development manager.
Rachel Parrott is responsible for managing and coordinating the firm’s marketing and business development activity.
She joins Saffery Champness with a proven track record gained during her previous roles in PR and marketing.
After graduation with a BA (hons) degree in Sociology with Management Studies from the Royal Holloway University of London, Mrs Parrott worked for Orchard PR, where she rose to consultant, managing a large portfolio of clients spanning the financial, legal and commercial sectors.
In 2009 she was hired as Channel Islands marketing manager for an international bank, managing the PR, marketing, internal communications, CSR and event management for the company’s Guernsey and Jersey offices.
Mrs Parrott is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and holds the CAM Foundation’s Advanced Diploma in Communications Studies.
Mrs Parrott said: “This is a very exciting and challenging time to join Saffery Champness, as the firm celebrates 35 years in Guernsey, I look forward to playing a part in building further on its success.”
