HUNDREDS of companies will have their data moved to Sure’s facilities following a partnership between the telco and Alternative Solutions Limited.
ASL is moving all of its Cloud and Managed Services server infrastructure, which is used by its financial services and other clients, to Sure’s data centres.
‘We are installing brand new server infrastructure in Sure’s world-class data centre facilities as well as relocating some of our clients’ servers, which we have previously housed our own hosting facility. This is a positive move for our clients as they benefit from exceptional levels of security, back-up generators and secure power and internet feeds,’ said Neil Jordan, ASL’s managing director.
‘It would be impossible for our clients to implement this level of information security in their own premises and so this new partnership will deliver higher levels of service to them. It also gives us additional security as we are working with an experienced and trusted telecommunications company.’
Sure account director Vince de la Mare said the company had recently launched a scheme to encourage businesses like ASL to consider using Sure’s facilities.
‘Our Channel Partner Incentive Scheme has been launched in recognition of the partnerships we are forming with leading companies across the islands. Sure has invested millions of pounds into creating state-of-the-art data centre facilities and through strategic partnerships, we are able to offer multiple companies the opportunity to utilise them,’ he said.
‘Sure is delighted to be working with ASL and indirectly with its hundreds of clients across the Channel Islands.’
