RBC Wealth Management is celebrating 40 years in Guernsey with a special programme of activities and events involving employees, business partners, clients and the local community.
From humble beginnings in Little St John’s Street in 1973, with only three staff, RBC Wealth Management now has over 240 employees based in its Canada Court premises in Guernsey, making it one of the major employers on the Island . Having expanded thanks to a combination of organic growth and acquisitions, including Royal Trust, Ernst and Young’s trust business, and Abacus Financial Services, RBC Wealth Management in Guernsey now offers wealth management solutions, international trust services, investment management, global custody and fund administration to clients globally.
A number of celebratory events are planned for to mark the milestone, including a staff party and a reception for business partners in July. The anniversary will also form part of RBC Wealth Management’s regular community activity, including its sponsorship of the annual Harbour Carnival, charitable giving to local causes, and employee volunteer activities. In addition, a specially-commissioned logo marking the anniversary will feature on stationery and advertisements.
