Guernsey News, 13 November 2009 – Ian Stewart has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director of Rossborough Guernsey.

Mr Stewart, 45, has been with the company for nine years and has been promoted from Director to Deputy Managing Director.

His role will focus on assisting the Managing Director with the overall responsibility for the operation of the company and the supervision of the account teams who service Rossborough’s portfolio of clients.

Mr Stewart has 28 years experience in the insurance industry, having worked both in the UK and in the Channel Islands. He has gained full industry experience as an Insurance company underwriter with Legal and General and Norwich Union (now Aviva), and as an insurance broker with Rossborough. He holds a Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma and is currently studying for the Chartered Insurance Institute Advanced Diploma.

Having worked for Rossborough Jersey as an account executive and for Rossborough Southamptom as a Director, Mr Stewart has extensive knowledge of the company and a broad range of expertise to support his role.
