SOURCE RECRUITMENT PROMOTES TWO TO THE TOP

New directors at Source RecruitmentGuernsey News, 5 February 2010 – TWO new associate directors have been appointed at Source Recruitment.

Consultants Tony Jones and Becky Dean have been promoted to the board and will assume responsibility for the day to day management of the company, which was launched in 2005 and has become one of the island’s leading recruitment specialists.

‘Tony and Becky have consistently proved their worth since joining Source and I am delighted to be able to reward their commitment,’ said Source founder and director Julia Martin.

‘Having two directors with complementing skills can only be of benefit to the company and as they will be sharing the management duties, they will be able to continue with their consultancy responsibilities to ensure that the service we offer our clients and our candidates remains at the level which has defined us.’

Mr Jones joined Source in 2005 having worked in finance and holds the REC Certificate in Recruitment Practice.

‘Coming out of what can only be described as an incredibly tough 12 months I’m very much enjoying the fact that Channel Islands’ employers have again begun to focus a lot of energy on recruitment,’ he said.

‘This new role will allow me to have a greater impact on the development of Source whilst ensuring that we continue to be considered Guernsey’s leading recruitment consultancy. Client service has been key to our success and maintaining the levels that our clients and candidates have come to expect is at the top of my to do list.’

Miss Dean started her career as a travel agent and joined Source in 2006. She holds both the REC Certificate and Diploma in Recruitment Practice.

‘The opportunity to manage a vibrant, successful business like Source is a rare one particularly in such a young company. It’s an exciting career opportunity and one that I’m thoroughly going to enjoy. To achieve this level of recognition and reward after just three and a half years with the company is something I’m extremely proud of,’ she said.

‘I am delighted that I have been able to take on this role without giving up what I love, which is recruitment. Dealing with people is my passion so it’s great to be able to combine this with my leadership skills. Of course the main challenge will be finding enough hours in the day but I’m looking forward to it – I’m at my happiest if I have a never-ending list of things to do!’
