STEP Guernsey delegates to view the Philanthropic Landscape

How can Guernsey’s fiduciary professionals support their clients in getting real joy out of philanthropic giving?

In The Philanthropy Landscape, the final lecture of the Collas Crill sponsored 2013/2014 lecture series on Thursday 3 July, independent philanthropy adviser Alison Hope, will share an in-depth update on giving today, both in the UK and overseas.

Alison Hope is the founder of Hope Philanthropic, which helps wealthy individuals and families develop rewarding, tailored giving and social investment strategies. By drawing on her many years’ experience she offers a service that combines specialist knowledge, sound advice, and practical support.

“Over the course of my career I have been struck by how little support is available for individuals willing and able to make significant donations,” said Alison. “In direct response to this I set up Hope Philanthropic, offering a fulfilling client-led approach to philanthropy.”

Alison is a highly experienced charity specialist who has raised millions for a wide range of causes and charities – from modest local organisations to high profile UK names such as the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, the Calvert Trust, the National Children’s Orchestra, Royal West of England Academy, Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust, and Community Resolve.

The evening lecture starts at 5.30pm at the OGH Hotel.
