The walls are being painted, the window display designed and the applications to become one of the lucky residents of The OSA Pop Up Charity Shop are coming in thick and fast.
Belinda Windsor, Recruitment Manager at OSA Recruitment said, “As you know we are offering four local charities/community groups the chance to occupy The OSA Pop Up Charity Shop for one week each, in the lead up to Christmas. We’d love the shop to become one of the places to go for Christmas shopping this year, especially on the late Christmas shopping nights, which are always good fun. We will be helping out by offering mince pies and a glass of something warm for all who visit”.
The deadline for applications from those wishing to be considered is the 12th November. Once applications are received, they will be shortlisted by a panel of judges and then OSA Recruitment would like Islanders to help in choosing the winning charities. Further information on how to do this will be released when the shortlist is announced on 14th November.
“We’re really pleased with the applications we’ve already received but we’d like to encourage as many charities or community groups as possible to apply. We hope that this will raise the profile of deserving Island charities and community groups, allowing them to raise much needed funds and awareness”, said Sophie Gregson, Director.
Application forms are available online at www.osa.gg and also from the OSA Recruitment offices at Top Floor, 22 Smith Street, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 2JQ.
