The Robus Group, a leading provider of insurance management and fiduciary services, have received short list nominations for the inaugural UK Captive Services Awards which will be taking place in February after the first day of this year’s Captive Live UK.
The Robus Group have been shortlisted in the categories of Independent Captive Manager of the Year and Innovation in Captive Management.
The Captive Service Awards aim to recognise excellence in the delivery and management of captive insurance and celebrate those who have excelled within 2012. Robus Group Director, Lisa Prigent explains the Group’s feelings at being nominated for this year’s awards, “We are honoured merely to have been short listed for these awards in our first year of activity. The recognition that these nominations represent is something that we are very pleased to have received. The Champagne is currently on ice, but we are delighted.”
The Awards are being run by the people behind Captive Live, an annual event bringing a unique programme of domicile-neutral education and premium networking opportunities to the Captive community. This year’s event sees various members of the Robus team sharing their knowledge in sessions throughout the 2 day event; Tom Stephenson will be giving an Introduction to Captives, Justin Wallen a discussion on the Rise of cell companies: Are ICCs and PCCs the smarter ART vehicles, and Chris Le Conte will be giving his thoughts on ‘Innovation’ products: Separating the wheat from the chaff.
As Robus Group MD Chris Le Conte puts it, “We are geared up for a great conference this year. We are absolutely delighted that the knowledge and expertise around which we have built the Robus Group in 2012 is being recognised and that we are being given opportunity to share our Robus view point.”
